Introduction to Archery - Learn a new skill
Usually twice a year, we run a course that allows people to learn the basic skills of the sport of Archery.
Anyone who wishes to join us as a club member is required to do this course unless they have been a recent member of the Grand National Archery Society (i.e. within the last 2 years).
Of course, some people simply want to give the sport a try.
Excellent.
These people are welcome too.
It is run over 6 consecutive Wednesday (Occasionally Thursday) evenings 7pm to 9pm at Kirknewton Village Hall. There are usually 3 or 4 instructors who teach up to 16 persons per course. You get a lot of shooting done using our club equipment. We also supply the tea, coffee and biscuits.
Over the last few years, we have instructed over 180 people and the general feedback we get is that everyone has loads of fun.
Which is what life is about after all.
The COST ?
I'm not telling you. It's embarrassingly cheap. It'll make you think the course is rubbish. But it's not.
If you're interested, go to the "contact us" page and send me a nice email.
I'll send you more details in a Word Document.
